What is Administrative License Revocation?
Administrative license revocation, or ALR, is a policy that allows law enforcement officials to confiscate your license in several different situations. The police can take your driver’s license if you are pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving and refuse to submit to a BAC test, or if you are detained, give a BAC sample, and are found to have a BAC at or over the legal limit of .08.
If the court upholds the ALR, you can be without a license for a period of months or even years. If you have had your license revoked due to a drunk driving charge, we may be able to help. For more information, contact experienced San Antonio DWI attorney Chris S. Barnett today at 210-587-6464.
